Devo 1.4 - Stand in Your Worth
I sat with an awesome mentor a few weeks ago soaking up her wisdom. She poured so much into me in those two hours but the one thing she said that really stuck to my ribs was this:
“You have to know and own your value. Sometimes others can see your value before you do and they will exploit it because you don’t know what you bring to the table.”
If nothing else, let's get to really know our value this week. Revisit it often. Refuse to share it with those who'll only mess over it. No more discounts for our talents. No more freebies. You don't have to come undone for others to see you or value you. Those deserving will pay what it costs for the value added you bring.
Let's bring it.
